Connect GROUPS

Doing Life Together

The book of First Corinthians reveals that the Christian life is not to be a singular effort.  We are to be a part of a whole body of people called the family of God.  A "Connect Group" is a place where the true intent of what it means to be brothers and sisters in Christ is practiced and demonstrated.  The purpose of a Connect Group is to build relationships through loving, supportive, and exhortative Christians who help each other through the Holy Spirit to grow in their love, knowledge, and obedience to Jesus Christ.  A Connect Group is not a social meeting or a club, but it is a Christ-centered ministry opportunity.

"They devoted themselves to the apostle's teaching and to fellowship,

to the breaking of bread and to prayer."

Acts 2:42

  • The Armor of God

All day, every day, an invisible war rages around you — unseen, unheard, yet felt throughout every aspect of your life. But his battle plan depends on catching you unaware and unarmed. If you're tired of being pushed around and caught with your guard down, The Armor of God study is for you.  The Armor of God, more than merely a biblical description of the believer's inventory, is an action plan for putting it on and developing a personalized strategy to secure victory.

No marriage is perfect. But every marriage can get better. Do you feel like the spark is gone? Like a critical spirit has invaded your marriage? Like you want more intimacy, but something is in the way? You could be suffering from the Perfection Infection. The Perfection Infection  happens when we cultivate unrealistic expectations of ourselves and our spouse, gradually leading to intimacy-killing behavior, also known as the “Seven Slow Fades.” This study will guide couples in what they need to know to kick the Perfection Infection right out and return to intimacy.
