Connect GROUPS

Doing Life Together

The book of First Corinthians reveals that the Christian life is not to be a singular effort.  We are to be a part of a whole body of people called the family of God.  A "Connect Group" is a place where the true intent of what it means to be brothers and sisters in Christ is practiced and demonstrated.  The purpose of a Connect Group is to build relationships through loving, supportive, and exhortative Christians who help each other through the Holy Spirit to grow in their love, knowledge, and obedience to Jesus Christ.  A Connect Group is not a social meeting or a club, but it is a Christ-centered ministry opportunity.

"They devoted themselves to the apostle's teaching and to fellowship,

to the breaking of bread and to prayer."

Acts 2:42

  • Refuel

As a Christian, we know we need to have devotions. We've heard it from our pastors; we've seen the study guides. Some of us have valiantly set our alarm clocks back an hour for morning quiet time, only to find that life creeps back in to steal our resolve.

If you've always struggled with the stereotypical quiet-time, don't give up hope! This is the group for you!

  • Not a fan - Impact Students Group

Are you a fan or a follower? Fans want to be close enough to Jesus to get all the  benefits, but not so close that it requires sacrifice. Jesus was never interested in having admirers. It’s not fans he is looking for. Not a Fan will challenge us to consider what it really means to call yourself a Christian.
