Connect GROUPS

Doing Life Together

The book of First Corinthians reveals that the Christian life is not to be a singular effort.  We are to be a part of a whole body of people called the family of God.  A "Connect Group" is a place where the true intent of what it means to be brothers and sisters in Christ is practiced and demonstrated.  The purpose of a Connect Group is to build relationships through loving, supportive, and exhortative Christians who help each other through the Holy Spirit to grow in their love, knowledge, and obedience to Jesus Christ.  A Connect Group is not a social meeting or a club, but it is a Christ-centered ministry opportunity.

"They devoted themselves to the apostle's teaching and to fellowship,

to the breaking of bread and to prayer."

Acts 2:42

Spring connect groups

Our Connect Groups meet in trimesters throughout the year. We have something for all ages and all walks of life. We believe that community happens in circles, not rows, which makes Connect Groups the perfect place to fit right in! For specific group locations or if you any questions regarding our Connect Groups please call the church office (580-584-6546) or email us at info@brokenbowfirst.org. If you are interested in more information or to see how you can serve, fill out the form at the bottom of this page or visit our Connection Center in the lobby.

  • The Good Book

The Bible is a big book. Hundreds of characters and thousands of ideas parade across its pages from beginning to end. From the uninitiated to the very seasoned, readers of the Bible will always find something new to learn in The Good Book. Pastors Deron Spoo and Kyle Idleman visit themes about God in the Bible. At the center of the series stands God, and each theme will focus on who He is in relationship to His created order.

In It's Not Supposed to Be This Way, Lysa Terkeurst offers a Biblical perspective and hard-won advice to encourage readers facing their own challenges. Find unexpected strength while wrestling between faith and feelings and learn how to stand through uncertainty and trust in God's goodness.

  • Shaken (Youth Study)

Life is not easy. We all experience the ups and downs of life - wins and losses. The world does not define you, but it certainly does try to and often, we let it. God has already defined us and because our identities are secure, we don't have to ride the roller coaster of life. This study follows Tim Tebow who has ridden the highs and lows in his NFL journey and learned what it means to be grounded in who you are no matter what life throws your way.

    Leader: Pastor Tyler March

  • Whisper

God still speaks today. His voice and guidance wasn't only for the saints and prophets old, but for followers of Jesus now. In this study we will look at seven ways that God communicates with His followers, if they'll stop to listen. Through the tools of Scripture, Doors, Dreams, People, Promptings, and Pain, God weaves divine messages of love, encouragement and insight, into our lives every day.
